De Koffieschenkerij

De Koffieschenkerij is located in the oldest building in Amsterdam: De Oude Kerk in the Amsterdam Red Light District. Here you can enjoy delicious coffee and artisanal cake in the former sacristy of the church.

Our beautiful cafe

In collaboration with 'the Stichting Oude Kerk' we have turned this old sacristy into a beautiful café. The sacristy dates from 1517 and exudes historical charm!

Imagine that people like Rembrandt was sitting in this space. He actually did, because he signed his marriage papers right here, on this spot!

Our daily focus is to make our guests happy with the simple and great things in life; a delicious cup of coffee or a freshly baked piece of cake.

Our interior is cosy and welcoming and when the weather is nice, you can sit outside in our city garden among the roses, grapes, quinces and hundreds of tulips.
